February Presentation featuring Intermountain Therapy Animals

Join us for our February Presentation featuring Intermountain Therapy Animals! This is a free community event and all are welcome.

Intermountain Therapy Animals is a non-profit organization bringing animal resources to human needs. They specialize in providing animal-assisted therapy in the areas of physical, occupational, speech and psychotherapies, as well as special education.

Intermountain Therapy Animals Volunteers, Mary Martin and Ellie (a Golden Retriever), will start out the evening with some information about animal assisted interactions (AAI) and some personal work stories of Ellie. Attendees will get a chance to socialize with Ellie and ask questions.

Ellie enjoys meeting people and has been doing so for over ten years. She has worked in senior care facilities, public schools and MSU, ITA’s R.E.A.D. Program, and hospice work.
