Cassie Jackson

Suffer Out Loud has been an idea of Cassie's since she lost her sister to suicide in 2008. She felt very isolated in her grief. In reality, so many people have been effected by mental illness or has lost a loved one to suicide. The issue is no one is talking about it because there is such a strong stigma. She strongly believes that starting this difficult conversation can save lives. Read her story on our blog

Kristina Teasley

Kristina has a strong belief that having a community is essential to people struggling with mental illness. She was raised in Montana and has seen the effect of the stigma associated with mental illness her entire life. She jumped on the opportunity to be involved in Suffer Out Loud because she believes this organization can help to bring people together and end the isolation that so many people are faced with.
